Part of the 2026 Rochester International Jazz Festival — a free show at Jazz Street Stage on Fri, Jun 19, 2026, 3:45 PM, featuring High School & College Jazz Bands, Eastman Youth Jazz Orchestra with Herb Smith, Nikki Hill. Durham, NC-born soul-rock powerhouse who blends gospel roots, R&B, and hard-charging rock and roll into an electrifying live act. Rolling Stone called her "a vocal powerhouse who don't mess around," fronting a band built on rocket-fueled bluesy swing. She has released three albums and toured internationally across the US, Europe, Australia, India, and Morocco, with festival credits including the Montreux Jazz Festival and Byron Bay Blues Festival.
