The Avett Brothers

The Avett Brothers are an American folk rock band from Concord, North Carolina, led by brothers Scott and Seth Avett, with Bob Crawford (bass) and Joe Kwon (cello). Touring members include Mike Marsh (drums), Tania Elizabeth (fiddle), and Bonnie Avett-Rini (piano). Blending bluegrass, country, punk, pop, folk, and rock, their sound has been praised as a mix of Townes Van Zandt’s depth, Buddy Holly’s melodies, and the Ramones’ raw energy.
