Hiromi’s Sonicwonder

Hiromi (Hiromi Uehara) is a Japanese jazz pianist and composer born in Hamamatsu, Japan, who splits her time between New York and Tokyo. Her music fuses stride, post-bop, progressive rock, and classical influences into a technically explosive, theatrically intense performance style. She won a Grammy for Best Contemporary Jazz Album in 2011 as part of the Stanley Clarke Band and has released twelve studio albums, most recently Sonicwonderland (2023).
