Vitor Gonçalves is a Brazilian-born pianist, accordionist, composer, and arranger based in New York City. Originally from Rio de Janeiro, he relocated to NYC in 2012 to explore jazz and its connections with Brazilian music. His 2017 Sunnyside Records debut received four and a half stars from DownBeat, and he earned two 2020 Grammy nominations — for Best Latin Jazz Album and Best Large Jazz Ensemble.
