The Soul Rebels are an eight-piece brass ensemble from New Orleans fusing the city's brass band tradition with funk, soul, hip-hop, jazz, and rock. They perform 250-plus shows annually and hold a weekly Thursday residency at Le Bon Temps Roule. They have shared stages with Metallica, Nas, and Katy Perry, appeared on NPR's Tiny Desk, and debuted on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert. Village Voice called them "the missing link between Public Enemy and Louis Armstrong."
