About the Artist

The Local Hang-Ups are a Rochester, NY female duo comprised of Abbey Sitterley and Katy Martin blending “oldies-indie” charm with acoustic pop hooks and tight S&G inspired harmonies. Their debut EP, Dialtone (2021), introduced bittersweet melodies and close-mic storytelling, followed by singles like “Mile High” and “Love Somebody.” The pair has appeared on TV sessions and regional stages while crafting a full-length with Old Bear Records, leaning into vintage tones, hand-in-glove vocals, and songs about connection and community.
