About the Artist

Little Feat are a band from Los Angeles blending rock, New Orleans funk, country, and blues. Formed in 1969 by Lowell George with Bill Payne, Roy Estrada, and Richie Hayward, they won a devoted following with albums like Dixie Chicken and the landmark live set Waiting for Columbus. The classic lineup later added Paul Barrere, Kenny Gradney, and Sam Clayton. The group split in 1979, reformed in 1987, and continues to tour and record.
