Jack Johnson is an American singer-songwriter, surfer, and filmmaker from Oahu’s North Shore whose mellow blend of acoustic pop, folk, and surf rock has topped the Billboard 200 with albums like Sing-A-Longs and Lullabies for the Film Curious George, Sleep Through the Static, To the Sea, and From Here to Now to You. A former competitive surfer and UCSB film grad, he first broke out via “Rodeo Clowns” with G. Love and later scored his own surf films. He also co-founded the Kōkua Hawai‘i Foundation supporting environmental education.
