Avishai Cohen Big Vicious is the electro-acoustic ensemble led by Israeli trumpeter Avishai Cohen, formed after his 2014 return to Tel Aviv from New York. The band blends jazz improvisation with textures from electronica, ambient music, psychedelia, trip-hop, and post-rock, featuring two drummers alongside guitar and bass. Their 2020 ECM Records debut drew comparisons to electric Miles Davis and Radiohead, covering Massive Attack's "Teardrop" alongside original compositions.
