April Mae & The June Bugs is a New Jersey-based quartet fronted by April Mae Iorio (vocals, washboard) alongside "Catfish" Dave Fecca on cigar box guitar and banjo, upright bass, and drums. Their sound draws from vintage jazz swing, jump blues, rockabilly, and 1940s jive — a style they call "Ameripolian roots music." Formed in 2010, the band has released seven studio albums, earned airplay on over 100 radio stations across the U.S. and Europe, and performed alongside folk legend Pete Seeger.
