Anees is a Palestinian-Lebanese American singer, rapper, and songwriter from the suburbs of Washington, D.C. and Northern Virginia. His genre-defying sound blends hip-hop, indie pop, R&B, and soul, built on introspective lyrics and melodic hooks. A former attorney who left law to pursue music, Anees broke through with his viral hit "Sun and Moon," which topped the Billboard Philippines Songs chart and surpassed 200 million total streams. He has headlined multiple North American tours and released his debut album, Summer Camp.
