Watkins Glen

Watkins Glen punches well above its size. At the foot of Seneca Lake and home to the famous racetrack, the village fills with visitors all season, and the harbor, breweries, and Seneca wine trail keep live music on tap most summer weekends. Race weekends and festivals are the peaks, but the lakeside taprooms and downtown bars carry a steady acoustic calendar through the warm months. It's the southern Finger Lakes' busiest small-town scene, and an easy run from Corning or Ithaca.
